Description

This impressive vintage amethyst cocktail ring has been crafted in 18ct white gold and platinum.

The pierced decorated frame displays a feature collet set round cut 0.42 carat natural amethyst encircled by ten, well colour matched, claw set old European round cut diamonds.

The elevated, subtly tapering ring shoulders blend seamlessly with the plain 18 carat hallmarked white gold ring shank.

The hallmarks include the 18ct gold hallmark (18ct) and the platinum hallmark (pt).

This impressive cocktail ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

Condition

This amethyst cocktail ring is fine quality, set with an impressive natural amethyst and very high colour graded old cut diamonds.

The 1940's cocktail ring is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition with clear hallmarks to the inner shank.

Sizing through the years has left the shank slightly thin and misshapen. (The shank may be sympathetically replaced if necessary when next sized).

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of vintage jewellery/estate jewelry.

Andrew Campbell started trading in Antique Silver in the 1970's. Initially, Andrew lived in the South of England, travelling the country, searching for items of silver to buy.
