A very fine and impressive pair of antique Victorian 0.78 carat diamond, enamel and 18 carat gold cufflinks; part of the AC Silver antique jewellery, estate jewelry collections Description
These very fine antique cufflinks have been crafted in 18 ct yellow gold.
The links have a circular form.
Both the posterior and anterior links are each embellished with dark blue enamel, ornamented with a central old European cut diamond colet set in relief.
A further four old European round cut diamonds are colet set to the shaped, millegrain decorated border of each link.
Each cufflink displays an additional twelve old Dutch cut diamonds claw set to the border.
The cufflink joiner (lobster clasp) to the reverse of the links is clearly stamped Brevete S.G.D.G (Breveté San Garantie Du Government - patent without Government guarantee).
Both joiners also display a key icon maker's hallmark containing the letters 'AU' .
These impressive antique cufflinks are fitted to a contemporary, but possibly not the original, blue leatherette presentation case.
The velvet and satin lined interior displays the retailer's name 'Harrods, London SW'.
These very fine Victorian cufflinks are supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
Condition
These gents cufflinks are fine quality, set with old cut diamonds.
The enamel to each link is in perfect condition.
The cufflinks in general are in excellent condition.
