Description

This stunning antique diamond watch has been crafted in platinum.

The subtly curved feature setting surrounds the aged white dial displaying the maker's name Glycine* in addition to bold black Arabic hour numerals around a tonneau shaped, track style chapter ring.

The manual wind watch is fitted with blued steel shaped hands and a plain crown/winder.

The watch bezel and fixed lugs create the feature geometric Art Deco design ornamented with a combination of modern brilliant transitional round cut and eight-cut diamonds.

The sides of the watch case are embellished with a central band of chased decorated geometric motifs.

This authentic antique diamond watch is fitted with an articulated platinum bracelet strap consisting of two feature angular shaped anterior links and thirty-three rectangular links, all ornamented with individually set diamonds.

The bracelet strap secures to the reverse with a diamond embellished hallmarked locking clasp, and benefits from the additional security of a fine link chain and spring ring catch.

This fine example of 1930's craftsmanship is fitted with the authentic Swiss made, 17 jewels, Glycine Watch Co., one temp adjusted movement.

This impressive cocktail watch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

NOTE* Glycine was founded by Eugène Meylan in 1914 in Bienne, Switzerland. The company became a market leader in producing miniature movements for fine quality watches.
