Description

This stunning 1940's ladies vintage diamond cocktail watch has been crafted in platinum.

The Art Deco style watch has a rectangular form with chamfered corners.

The antique white watch face displays bold, plain black Arabic hour numerals within a chamfered track style chapter ring.

The manual wind watch is fitted with shaped, blued steel hands and a sapphire cabochon embellished crown/winder.

The watch bezel is embellished with twenty-four transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds.

This fine Art Deco cocktail watch is fitted with a fully articulated platinum bracelet style strap consisting of sixteen paired rectangular links interconnected via sixteen single, subtly convex links.

All forty-eight individual links are each ornamented with two eight-cut diamonds.

The watch secures to the reverse with a discreet, single diamond embellished, fully integrated push fit clasp.

The bracelet benefits from the additional security of a fine link safety chain and spring ring fastening.

This authentic 1940's ladies' watch has a plain, platinum push fit caseback hallmarked with the platinum guarantee mark (PLATINUM) in addition to the maker's mark (HWT).

***The wrist watch is fitted with a manual wind 17 jewels, unadjusted Swiss movement****.

This authentic vintage evening watch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

The watch is fitted to a blue leatherette hinged presentation case which bears the retailer's mark 'Wallace Allan, Watchmaker and Jeweller, 4 Newmarket Street, Ayr'.

Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone.
