4.30ct Emerald and 3.24ct Diamond, 18ct White Gold Ring - Vintage Circa 1990

£7,645.00

A stunning, fine and impressive vintage 4.30 carat natural Zambian emerald and 3.24 carat diamond, 18 carat white gold cluster ring; an addition to our vintage jewellery and estate jewelry collections

SKU A4434

This stunning, fine and impressive emerald and diamond cluster ring has been crafted in 18ct white gold.

The boat style mount displays a feature 4.30ct step cut natural emerald four claw set to the centre of the arrangement.

The emerald is bordered by eighteen individually claw set, well colour matched, marquise cut diamonds totalling 3.24 cts.

The elevated, pierced decorated ring shoulders blend seamlessly with the plains hallmarked ring shank.

The hallmarks include the maker's mark 'DOM', the 18ct gold fineness mark (750), the international convention gold guarantee mark (750 and scales) and the Birmingham Assay Office hallmark (anchor).

This vintage cluster ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading report card, in addition to a emerald report supplied by the Gemmological Certification Services*, London.

NOTE: * This documentation accredits the emerald originating in Zambia and certifies that the gemstone shows indications of moderate clarity enhancement.

"Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics."

Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone.

This 1990's dress ring is fine quality set with a natural emerald and very high colour graded and very high clarity graded diamonds.

There is a minor surface loss to the emerald, near one claw; this does not detract from the overall aesthetic appearance, and the ring has been priced accordingly.

The ring is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition with a clear set of hallmarks to the interior of the ring shank.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this vintage emerald ring.
