Description

This impressive vintage brooch has been modelled in 18ct white gold in the form of a butterfly.

The pierced decorated wings are embellished with a colet set round cut ruby and Old European round cut diamonds of various sizes.

The body of the butterfly is ornamented with a cabochon opal and the abdomen set with modern brilliant round cut diamonds.

The butterfly head is colet set with a round cut natural sapphire.

The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin with push fit safety catch.

This fine vintage brooch is supplied with an independent gemstone and diamond grading report card.

PLEASE NOTE: The Old European cut diamonds and gemstones displayed in this brooch are circa 1900. It was common practice in the 1940's to use older diamonds and gemstones in such pieces.

This brooch has been tested and verified by an independent jeweller as 18ct white gold.
