Description

This stunning vintage spray style, three-dimensional 1960s brooch has been crafted in 18ct white gold.

The two broader ribbons are ornamented with a total of nine oval cut natural rubies, graduating in size dependent upon position within the design.

The supporting ribbons and the upper curve of the broadest ribbon are ornamented with a combination of thirty-one Old European cut and transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds, pavé and single line set.

The encircling 'ribbon' is accented with five baguette cut diamonds.

This fine and impressive fully hallmarked 18ct white gold brooch secures to the reverse with a hallmarked hinged pin and locking clasp.

This 1960's ruby and diamond brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

Date: 1965

Condition

This stunning vintage brooch is a very good gauge of gold, fine quality set with very high colour graded old cut diamonds and natural rubies.

The brooch is in excellent condition with very clear hallmarks to the reverse.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this impressive example of 1960's jewellery/estate jewelry.

The images do not reflect the true colour of the rubies. The video however provides a more accurate reproduction of the actual colour.
