A very fine and impressive vintage 6.85ct Old European round cut diamond, ruby and platinum, flower spray brooch: part of our jewellery range

Description

This very impressive vintage flower spray brooch has been crafted in platinum.

The two flower heads are each ornamented with a claw set mixed cut natural ruby, encircled by six, claw set, Old European round cut diamonds.

The 'ribbon' around the spray is embellished with three calibre cut rubies.

The diamonds and rubies are antique gemstones, circa 1900, set to a vintage design - this was common practice in the 1940's and 1950's.

The brooch is further ornamented with realistically modelled leaves in relief.

This impressive platinum brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and locking clasp in addition to a safety clip and fine link chain.

This 1950's brooch is supplied with an independent gemstone and diamond grading report card.

The brooch has been tested and verified by an independent jeweller as platinum.

Condition

This vintage brooch is a very good gauge of platinum, fine quality set with high colour old cut diamonds.

The brooch is in excellent condition.
