Description

This fine Chinese Export Silver (CES) silver bowl has a plain circular form onto a colet foot.

The body of this antique bowl is embellished with embossed and chased decoration depicting traditional oriental fire-breathing dragons which encircle the bowl, onto a matted background.

The design incorporates a vacant 'teardrop' shaped cartouche, accented with a stylized border of flames.

The rim of this CES bowl is thread decorated.

Condition

This antique Chinese Export Silver bowl is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent presentation condition.

The chased decoration is very sharp.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the bowl are all very clear.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of antique Chinese silverware.
