Description

This fine Chinese Export Silver (CES) box has a plain circular form with a push fit lid.

The lid is embellished with the iconic Chinese dragon engraved decoration encircling a vacant circular cartouche to the centre.

A further engraved dragon embellishes the body of the box.

The box has a gilt interior.

The hallmarks struck to the underside of this fine box include:

Maker’s mark: Yok Sang

Character mark: Untraced

Condition

This fine Chinese Export Silver box is an excellent gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.

Hallmarks struck to the underside of the base are clear.
