Description

This fine antique Chinese Export Silver (CES) goblet has a circular bell shaped form with a tapering cylindrical pedestal onto a circular bell shaped foot.

The body of the goblet is embellished with fine chased decoration depicting two dragons, one breathing fire, amidst clouds.

The goblet is ornamented to one side with a shaped vacant cartouche featuring a flame decorated border.

The foot of this fine CES goblet is ornamented with fluted decoration and four shaped panels embellished with iconic chased decorated Chinese designs such as bamboo and blossom.

The goblet retains the original gilt interior.

Character mark: Untraced

Silver quality/purity mark: 90 (90 standard)

The goblet has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.
