A fine antique Dutch silver bachelor sized / demitasse coffee pot; an addition to our teaware collection.

Description

This fine antique Dutch silver coffee pot has a plain bulbous shaped form onto a colet foot.

The surface of this Persian demitasse style coffee pot is plain and unembellished.

This fine piece is fitted with a hinged domed cover which retains the original carved wood and silver finial.

The coffee pot is fitted with a carved wood handle with integrated thumbpiece and plain silver sockets.

The hallmarks struck to the underside of this coffee pot include:

Silver quality/purity mark: Lion Passant .833 standard silver

Duty mark: Minerva head

Date mark: X (1907)

Maker’s mark: Untraced

Condition

This antique coffee pot is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent presentation condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the coffee pot are all very clear.
