A very good pair of vintage German silver beakers; part of our silverware collection

Description

These vintage continental silver beakers have a barrel shaped form.

The surface of each beaker is embellished with embossed and chased leaf and berry swag motifs in addition to chased wood grain decoration.

The beakers are further ornamented with bands of chased decoration encircling the upper and lower portions.

Unusually, these vintage beakers have chased decorated bases displaying a coat of arms and crest against a wood grain style background.

The beakers have gilt interiors.

Maker's mark: B. Neresheimer & Söhne

Silver quality/purity mark: 835 (835/1000)

National mark/reichsmark: Crescent moon and crown (Halbmond und Krone)

Condition

These German silver beakers are a very good gauge of silver, very good quality and in excellent condition.

The beakers have been professionally polished and are in presentation condition.

Hallmarks struck to the surface of each beaker are very clear.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these items.
