A fine antique Victorian American 10 carat gold Albert watch chain and fob; an addition to the AC Silver jewellery range

Description

This impressive antique American curb link Albert chain and fob has been crafted in 10 carat yellow gold.

This button hole T bar is positioned towards one end of the tapering curb link chain.

The original hallmarked 10ct yellow gold fob mount is embellished with engraved decoration.

The swivel mounted disc is set with agate.

The chain is fitted with a spring clip fastening at one end.

Condition

This antique watch chain and fob are a very good gauge of gold, fine quality and in excellent condition.

This Victorian watch chain and fob are in presentation condition.

A small terminal has been lost to the end of the fob but this does not detract from the fine quality of the piece.

Full hallmarks are struck to the surface the fob and the 10ct hallmark struck to each link.

As to be expected, the hallmarks are rubbed in keeping with age, but are still legible.
