Description

This antique Indian colonial silver Art Deco style champagne / presentation cup has a deep tapering vase shaped form onto a spreading circular foot.

The lower portion of the body has a hexagonal, panelled form.

The rim of the cup is embellished with a thread decorated border.

The cup is fitted with two splendid Art Deco style sweeping angular handles.

This cup is fitted to a circular turned wood plinth, encircled with a vacant silver inscription band; the band may be engraved with a personal inscription if so desired.

Condition

This antique Indian colonial champagne / presentation cup is an extremely good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface are clear.

Reflections in photography may detract from the true representation of this piece of Indian silverware.
