This impressive vintage
Italian sterling silver soup has an oval rounded shaped panelled form onto four bracket style feet. tureen
This very fine tureen is embellished with chased scrolling decoration incorporating a vacant shaped scroll decorated cartouche to either side.
The soup tureen retains the original hallmarked domed push fit cover.
The cover is surmounted by an unusual impressive ring style finial embellished with chased bud, floral and acanthus leaf decoration.
This soup tureen is fitted with two impressive chased scrolling acanthus leaf decorated handles.
The pierced decorated bracket style feet are ornamented with opposing scroll and acanthus leaf decoration.

Maker's mark: F.C. (Fratelli Cacchione)
Maker's registration: 39 MI (Fratelli Cacchione, Milano)
vintage soup tureen is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent presentation condition.
The chased decoration is very sharp.
Full hallmarks struck to the rim and the interior rim of the cover are very clear.
