The surface of the cup is plain and encircled with a plain applied girdle.

This fine provincial made cup is fitted with two plain S scroll handles, both struck with the makers’ mark.

This Newcastle silver cup is a fine example of its type; such small examples are rare to the market.

This fine provincial mug was made by the renowned Newcastle silversmiths John Langlands I and John Robertson I

Condition

This antique cup is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent presentation condition.

There are a few minor dings to one handle, in keeping with age.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface and part hallmarks to each handle have wear in keeping with age and location, but remain very clear.
