Description


This fine antique George III Newacstle sterling silver gravy spoon has been made in the Old English pattern.


The surface of the handle terminal is embellished with the contemporary bright cut engraved initial ‘F’.


The reverse of this large spoon features a rounded heel to the bowl and pip to the handle terminal.


This impressive silver gravy spoon has been crafted by the renowned Newcastle silversmith Christian Ker Reid.


Date: 1806

Condition


This antique gravy spoon is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent presentation condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of the handle are all very clear.


Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of Georgian silverware.
