Description

These fine antique George III Newcastle sterling silver teaspoons have been crafted in Old English pattern.

The anterior surface of the terminal of each handle is embellished with the contemporary engraved initials ‘WIE’.

Each spoon features an extended drop heel to the reverse of the bowl; this ornamentation is otherwise known as a strap drop.

These fine Georgian silver teaspoons, crafted by the renowned and collectable Newcastle silversmith John Langlands II, are exceptional examples of their type.

Condition

These antique sterling silver teaspoons are a very good gauge of silver, excellent quality and in excellent condition.

The bowls of these silver spoons are very sharp and show little signs of use or wear.

Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of each handle terminal are all very clear.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these examples of Georgian silverware.
