A fine pair of antique Victorian sterling silver sugar casters, part of our silverware collection

Description

These fine casters have a baluster shaped form onto a circular domed spreading foot.

The foot and lower portion of the body have embossed fluted decoration.

There is embossed and chased garland and medallion decoration to the upper portion of the body.

The casters retain their original hallmarked push fit covers which have pierced and gadroon decoration with urn shaped finials.

Condition

These fine casters are an extremely good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the body and to the rim of each cover are all very clear.

Reflections in photography may detract from the true representation of these items.
