Description


This impressive antique insect pin brooch has been crafted in 18 ct yellow gold in the form of a winged insect.


Each of the four wings is accented with an individual Dutch cut diamond.


The thorax of the insect is ornamented with an impressive feature collet set Dutch cut diamond and the abdomen represented by an impressive 5mm pearl.


The remainder of this 1890’s insect pin is crafted in 18 ct yellow gold, with a textured finish to the wing borders and hind legs.


This impressive example of Victorian jewellery secures with a simple twist design pin to the reverse.


The pin is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.


This antique brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 ct gold.


Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone.


Condition


This brooch is fine quality, set with an impressive pearl and very high colour graded old cut diamonds.

It is a very good gauge of gold and in excellent condition.
