This fine antique Russian silver gilt and polychrome enamel napkin ring has a circular cylindrical form.
Both the upper and lower rims of the napkin ring are embellished with a bead decorated border.
The exterior surface of the napkin ring is ornamented with cloisonné scrolling leaf and floral designs and bands of bead decoration using green, white, red, purple and two shades of blue polychrome enamel on a matte background.
The enamel decoration incorporates a vacant circular plain silver gilt cartouche.

Condition
This antique Russian napkin ring is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent presentation condition.
This napkin ring is in fine condition for its type; a few black markings and slight gilding loss to the interior does not detract from the overall appearance.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the napkin ring are all very clear.
