This fine antique
Russian silver gilt and polychrome enamel has an oval form. napkin ring
Both the upper and lower rims of the napkin ring are embellished with a moulded woven border.
The exterior surface of the napkin ring is ornamented with cloisonné interlacing scroll and stylised leaf designs and bands of bead decoration using white, red and two shades of blue polychrome enamel on a matte background.
enamel decoration incorporates a circular bordered floral motif to one side and a bordered vacant circular plain silver gilt cartouche to the other.

This napkin ring is in fine condition in keeping with age; a few black markings to the interior and minor breaks to the cloisonné borders do not detract from the overall appearance.
