Description

These antique Russian silver teaspoons have a fiddle pattern form with an oval rounded bowl.

The underside of the bowl of each teaspoon is embellished with finely bright cut engraved floral decoration onto a textured matted background, encircled by a plain engraved border.

The front and reverse of each spoon handle is embellished with a similar floral design with the textured matted background, and plain engraved border.

The bright cut engraved decoration to the front of the handle of each antique spoon incorporates a circular vacant cartouche.

The partial gilding to these Russian teaspoons has worn with age to a very pleasing mellow look.

Condition

These antique Russian teaspoons are a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent presentation condition.

The bright cut engraved decoration remains very crisp.

Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of the handle of each spoon are all very clear.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these items of Russian silverware.
