Description

This exceptional antique dress ring has been crafted in 18 ct yellow gold with a platinum setting.

The 18 ct yellow gold pierced decorated frame displays a feature 0.46 ct step cut natural emerald held in subtle relief within a platinum rectangular cut cornered design.

The emerald is surrounded by a total of thirteen modern brilliant round cut diamonds, collet set in platinum to the outer millegrain decorated scalloped rim design.

The elevated, tapering 18 ct yellow gold shoulders integrate seamlessly with the plain hallmarked ring shank.

This fine ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

"Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics."

Reference: The Connoisseur’s Guide to Precious Gemstones, R.Wise, Brunswick House Press.

Condition

This dress ring is fine quality set with very high colour graded diamonds and an exceptional natural, vivid green emerald.
