Description


This fine and impressive antique double Albert watch chain has been crafted in 9 ct yellow gold.


The rounded curb links that make up this impressive watch chain are each individually hallmarked with the 9 ct gold fineness hallmarks (375 and 9).


The watch chain is fitted at either end with the original hallmarked swivel link clasps.


The chain is fitted with a T-bar, clearly hallmarked with the Birmingham Assay Office hallmark (anchor), 9ct gold fineness marks (375 and 9) and the maker's mark (DB).


The hallmarks to the top link include the Birmingham Assay Office hallmark (anchor) and the date letter for 1924(Z).

Condition


This 1920's double Albert watch chain is fine quality and a very good gauge of gold.

The antique watch chain is in excellent condition; the hallmarks show some signs of wear in keeping with the age, but the majority remain clear.


Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of antique jewellery/estate jewelry.
