Description


These fine antique cufflinks have been crafted in 18ct yellow gold.


The gold cufflinks have an oval form.


The anterior surface of each panel is ornamented with engine turned decoration within a tooled border.


The reverse of each panel is plain and unembellished apart from the hallmarks.


All the links are encircled with a subtly raised rim.


These antique 1930's hallmarked cufflinks articulate via a hallmarked three link chain to the reverse.


The hallmarks to the reverse include the gold guarantee mark (crown), 18 ct gold standard mark (18), London Assay Office mark (leopard's head), date letter for 1935 (u), and the maker's mark S (ECL); each chain has partial hallmarks.

Condition


The cufflinks are a very good gauge of gold, fine quality and in excellent condition.

All the hallmarks are very clear.
