Description


This antique George V cut glass and sterling silver mounted scent bottle has a globular form.


The cut glass body of the scent bottle is embellished with a traditional pagoda beside water and stylised palm trees.

 

This antique scent bottle is fitted with a hallmarked hinged sterling silver mount and hinged cover inset with tortoiseshell.


The collar of the mount is plain and unembellished.


There is a small star cut decoration to the base of this George V scent bottle.


Date: 1921

Condition


This antique scent bottle has a very good gauge of silver mount.

The scent bottle is fine quality and in excellent presentation condition.

Full hallmarks are struck to the surface of the mount, and part hallmarks struck to the cover.

The majority of the hallmarks are clear, however some are slightly rubbed but legible.


Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of George V cut glass silverware.
