Description

This fine antique brooch has been crafted in 18 ct yellow gold in the form of a cat.

The three-dimensional brooch depicts a cat frolicking with a ball of yarn, the yarn being portrayed by the pearl.

The cat is further embellished with two old round cut natural emeralds as eyes.

This impressive antique cat brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and security clasp.

This antique cat brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 ct gold.

Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics."
