Description


This exceptional antique Italian silver frame has a plain rectangular form.


The surface of this large antique photo frame is embellished with impressive engine turned decoration.


The frame retains the original wood back and hinged strut, secured with two swivel catches.


The wood back of the frame bears the retailer's mark 'Gravanzola, Succ. E.Gardino, Via Del Corso 341, Roma'.


This antique frame is inset with a removable glass panel.


The hallmarks struck to this large Italian silver frame includes:

Silver quality/purity mark: 800 (800 standard, 800/1000).

Maker's mark: Indeterminate
