Description


This impressive antique mother of pearl brooch has been crafted in 10 ct yellow gold.


The brooch displays an oval mother of pearl collet set to the centre of the 10 ct yellow gold frame.


The mother of pearl panel features a floral layered design in orange/brown.


The feature mother of pearl is bordered with black enamel scrolling floriated decoration.


The antique brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and hook fastening.


The reverse of the brooch displays a contemporary engraved inscription: "Florence Burton" but this could be professionally removed if so desired.


This brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 10 ct gold.


Condition


This antique brooch is fine quality set with impressive mother of pearl.

The antique mother of pearl brooch is in excellent condition, the enamel shows minor signs of wear in keeping with the age of the piece.
