Description


These fine antique Edwardian sterling silver sauceboats have a plain oval rounded boat shaped form onto an oval pedestal foot and plain rectangular base.


The body of each piece is plain and embellished with an applied reed decorated border to the rim.


The sauceboats are fitted with fine and impressive ribbed loop handles featuring batwing style ornamentation to the upper terminals.


The oval pedestal foot of each sauceboat is encircled with tooled decoration.


Date: 1910

Condition


These antique sauceboats are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

The applied and tooled decoration is all very sharp.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the body of each sauceboat are all very clear.


Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these pieces of Edwardian silverware.
