Description

These fine antique Victorian sterling silver casters have a baluster shaped form onto a circular domed spreading foot.

The upper portion of each caster is encircled with embossed and chased decorated garlands suspended from medallion motifs.

The lower portion of the body and foot of each is embellished with embossed fluted decoration.

The casters retain the original hallmarked push fit covers ornamented with pierced decorated geometric configuration in a swirl design with a band of fluted decoration to the upper portion.

Each cover is surmounted with a silver urn shaped finial.

Reflections in photography may detract from the true representation of these examples of Victorian silverware.
