This fine antique Russian silver beaker has a rounded waisted form onto a collet foot.

The surface of this Faberge silver beaker is encircled with two tiers of impressive chased decorated sinuating leaf designs incorporating a scroll and leaf encompassed shaped cartouche displaying the contemporary engraved initials 'JS'.

The decoration to the centre of the body is further ornamented with two laurel braches.

This impressive and original beaker was crafted by the most revered Russian silversmiths Karl Faberge.

The hallmarks to the underside of this antique beaker include:

Maker's mark: К.ФАБЕРЖЕ (K.Faberge/Karl Fabergé)

Silver quality/purity mark: 84 (84 zolotniks, .875 standard silver)*

City Mark: St George slaying the dragon (Moscow, Russia)*

* The combined silver purity mark and city mark was used between 1882-1899

This antique Faberge silver beaker is an exceptional gauge of silver, fine quality and in exceptional presentation condition.

The chased decoration is all very sharp.
