Description


These forty antique George V sterling silver napkin rings have a plain circular form.


The napkin rings form a rare and comprehensive set, each ring displaying an engraved, individual number between 1 - 40.


This set of antique napkin rings is fitted to a hinged oak presentation case embellished with brass fittings and a vacant rectangular silver cartouche.


The interior of the box is velvet lined and features the retailer's mark 'Grant & Son, South Shields, Newcastle'.

These napkin rings are a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.

The napkin rings have been professionally polished and are in presentation condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of each napkin ring are all very clear.

The presentation box is in excellent condition in keeping with age.

Such a fine set of napkin rings is very rare as it retains the original forty pieces.
