Description


This exceptional vintage Elizabeth II sterling silver ecclesiastical chalice has a circular rounded form onto a circular knop and tapering hexagonal pedestal to a swept hexagonal foot.


The surface of the chalice has a planished finish in the Arts and Crafts style, apart from the knop which is plain and encircled with an applied band.


The swept hexagonal foot is ornamented with an impressive applied Latin cross/crux ordinaria.


The circular drinking vessel retains the original gilt interior.


Date: 1971

Condition


This vintage chalice is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside are all very clear.
