Description


This fine vintage sterling silver communion chalice has a rounded bell shaped form with a knopped stem onto a circular spreading pedestal foot.


The body of the goblet has a planished finished anterior surface with a gilt interior.


The knopped stem of the chalice is embellished with pierced and chased decoration.


There is a contemporary engraved inscription to the foot of the chalice which reads

'To the glory of God and in loving memory of Tom Wilcox life deacon sec honoured servant of toll bar Cong' I Church 1876- 1959'


Date: 1960

Condition


This vintage chalice is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.

The chalice is in presentation condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the base are very clear.
