Description


This impressive antique George V cut glass dressing table jar has a circular rounded form.


The jar is fitted with an impressive push fit hallmarked sterling silver and pink guilloche enamel cover.


The glass body of the jar is ornamented with acid etched bordered foliate and floral designs.


The base of the cut glass jar is embellished with a stylised star cut motif.

Date: 1922

Condition


The antique silver cover is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent presentation condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the rim of the cover are partially rubbed but remain legible apart from the first portion of the maker’s mark.


Reflections in photography may detract from the true representation of this George V silver and glassware.
