These impressive Edwardian sterling silver entree dishes have a rectangular form with cut rounded corners.

The entree dishes and covers are ornamented with impressive gadroon decorated borders accented with shell decorated corners.

The surface of these large entree dishes is plain and unembellished.

These fine entree dishes are fitted with a deep rectangular hallmarked cover with plain rounded corners.

The covers retain the original hallmarked bayonet fitting handles, which are also embellished with acanthus leaf and shell decoration.

Date: 1908


These antique entree dishes are an exceptional gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.

The floor of each dish displays minor knife marks as to be expected.

These Edwardian entree dishes have been professionally polished and are in presentation condition.

The chased decoration is very sharp.

Full hallmarks are struck to the underside of the base and the cover of both dishes.

Part hallmarks are struck to the handles.

All hallmarks are very clear.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these items of Edwardian silverware.
