Description


This fine antique Edwardian sterling silver toast/letter rack has been modelled in the form of five pairs of crossed golf clubs on a rectangular shaped frame.


The centre golf clubs have a cross-piece in the form of a club handle, supporting a central flag.


There is a realistically modelled golf ball to either end of the shaped pierced decorated frame.


The silver rack is supported by four plain ball feet.


The underside of this impressive letter rack bears the retailer's mark / icon (Aladdin's lamp) of James Dixon.


Date: 1907

Condition


This antique rack is an extremely good gauge of silver, very good quality and in excellent condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the frame are all very clear.


Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of antique silverware.
