Description


This fine antique George VI cast sterling silver presentation piece has been realistically modelled in the form of a male golfer completing a full swing.


The model is embellished with impressive cast details reproducing the fine details of the golfer’s attire, including features of his jacket, socks and golf club.


The hallmarked silver golfer is displayed on the original painted wood presentation plinth.


The cylindrical plinth is fitted with a vacant hallmarked sterling silver inscription plaque; the plaque may be engraved with a personal inscription if so desired.


Date: 1937

Condition


This antique presentation golf trophy is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent presentation condition.

The cast and chased decoration is very sharp.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the plaque and the model are all very clear.


Reflections in photography may detract from the true representation of this piece of antique silverware.
