Description


This impressive antique ivory boudoir clock has a rectangular form with rounded corners.


The clock is supported on four ivory bun feet.


The clock is fitted with a hinged hallmarked sterling silver carrying handle and a sterling silver bezel.


The fine clock face is embellished with turquoise guilloche enamel.


The black Arabic numerals for each hour are displayed in separate circular enamel discs bordered with a narrow band of gold.


All the numbers are encircled by a broader band of gold.


The clock hands are also gold in colour.


The hinged rear cover opens to reveal a fine Swiss made eight-day movement with the serial number 52693 and Maker's mark.


The clock movement is supplied with a 12 month guarantee.


Condition


This unusual and impressive antique boudoir clock is fine quality and in excellent condition apart from some crazing, as expected, to the ivory case.

The movement has been professionally overhauled and is in working order.

Part hallmarks struck to the swing handle are clear.
