This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver photo frame has a plain rectangular form.

The surface of this antique photograph frame is plain and unembellished.

This plain silver photo frame is fitted with a fine and impressive oak wood back and hinged strut, featuring a hallmarked sterling silver hinged clip bearing the patent number '17613'; the silver portions securing the oak wood back indicate the high quality of the piece.

The versatile strut facilitates the frame to be situated in either a portrait or landscape stance.

This antique frame is inset with a removable glass panel.

This impressive frame was crafted by the London silversmiths William Gibson & John Lawrence Langman of Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co.
