Description


This fine antique George V English sterling silver photograph frame has a plain rectangular incurved shaped form with a domed upper portion and rounded corners.


The subtly convex surface of the antique silver photo frame is plain and unembellished.


The rim of the frame is ornamented with an embossed spindle and bead style border.


This photograph frame is fitted with a painted wood back with hinged strut, secured with two swivel catches.


This impressive example of antique silverware is inset with a removable glass panel.


Date: 1913

Condition


This antique photograph frame is a very good gauge of silver of its type, excellent quality and in excellent presentation condition.

The embossed decoration is very sharp.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the rim are all very clear.


Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of antique silverware.
