Description


This exceptional antique sterling silver pint mug has a cylindrical rounded form onto a plain circular collet foot.


The upper portion of this Victorian silver pint mug is embellished with a broad shaped band of embossed and chased opposing scrolling leaf ornamentation accented with floral designs amidst a geometric zig zag design accented with batwing stylised leaf decoration.


The lower bulbous portion of the body is ornamented with embossed and chased fluted decoration with scrolling terminals and a paralleling scalloped chevron border.


This exceptional mug is fitted with a plain sterling silver C shaped handle.


The mug retains the original gilded interior.


This impressive pint mug was crafted by the London silversmiths Frederick Sibray & Job Frank Hall of Sibray, Hall & Co.

This antique Victorian silver pint mug is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the pint mug are all very clear.
