SOLD - Sterling Silver Salver - Antique Victorian

This fine salver has a circular shaped form with a swept and acanthus leaf decorated border.

There is a broad band of flat chased foliate decoration and a vacant circular cartouche to the centre of the salver surface.

The salver is supported by four impressive acanthus leaf bracket style feet.

This salver has been made by the highly regarded London silversmith Edward Barnard & Sons.

(Images may suggest the engraving is not central - this is most definitely not the case.)

This fine silver salver is an extremely good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.

The engraved decoration is very crisp.

Reflections in photography may detract from the true representation of this item.

Diameter 56cm/22.1"
