This fine antique George III sterling silver sifter ladle has a Fiddle, Thread and Shell pattern form with a rounded bowl.

The anterior surface of the handle terminal is embellished with a bright cut engraved crest of a demi lion gorged with a collar holding a stemmed flower.

The bowl of this antique ladle is ornamented with a central pierced decorated quatrefoil design accented with paralleling circular motifs.

The reverse of the bowl features a union shell heel.

This impressive sifter ladle was crafted by the renowned and collectable London silversmith Paul Storr.

Condition

This antique sifter ladle is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent presentation condition.
