Description


This fine antique George V sterling silver christening set consists of an egg cup, a spoon and a napkin ring.


The egg cup has a plain octagonal panelled bell shaped form onto a plain circular spreading foot in the Art Deco style.


The napkin ring has a plain octagonal panelled waisted form.


The surface of the spoon is plain and unembellished.


The rims of the egg cup and napkin ring are ornamented with bands of tooled decoration.


The pieces of this antique silver christening set are fitted to the original hinged leatherette box with satin and velvet lined interior, securing with a push fit catch.


Date: 1921

Condition


This antique christening set is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent presentation condition.

The presentation box is in excellent condition in keeping with age.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of each piece are all very clear.


Reflections in photography may detract from the true representation of this antique silverware.
