This fine antique Victorian sterling silver toast rack has an unusual plain heart shaped form.

The rack is divided into four compartments by an arch style frame, graduating in size.

The heart shaped base is supported by three hallmarked screw fit ball feet.

This sterling silver toast rack is fitted with a plain turned painted wood handle.

Date: 1896


This unusual antique toast rack is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the rack and part hallmarks, as expected to the frame and ball feet are all clear.

Reflections in photography may detract from the true representation of this example of Victorian silverware.
