Description


This fine antique Edwardian sterling silver two handled tea tray has a rectangular shaped form with incurved corners.


The surface of this antique tray is embellished with bright cut engraved fruit basket and floral festoon decoration accented with scrolling leaf and floral motifs creating a large shaped vacant cartouche to the centre.


This tea tray has a swept shaped border ornamented with a bead decorated rim.


The tray is fitted with a pair of shaped sterling silver bead and spindle decorated handles.


This impressive piece is supported by four bun style feet.


This tray is displayed with a four piece tea service for illustrative purposes only - the service (W5880) may be purchased separately from the AC Silver inventory.

Condition


This antique tray is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.

This piece has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

The bright cut engraved decoration to this impressive tray is very crisp.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface are very clear.
